I found the best way to conquer this is to just take action.

Like you said, unless your going to be in serious physical danger, just take action and do it. Particularly in business. You're bound to screw up, but you need to screw up to learn from your mistakes.

You either take action quickly or live the rest of your life with regret. Once I really internalized this, it completely changed my life.

An especially good article!

Fear of being made fun of sounds so foolish when you say it out loud in plain English. “I am not going to start this business because I’m afraid people will make fun of me if it fails? Really?”

That’s the thought that just ran through my head. Here’s to starting that business!

Well said. Rogan was just saying the exact same thing about the ice baths (in his Brand episode). There must be some personality trait in people like you and him that far too many people lack… I hope to be able to instill that sense in my kids (and myself!).

Bigger picture: it’s just a question of realizing that you’re fearing the wrong thing. The thing that happens if you don’t confront your fears is usually far scarier. Like if you don’t speak out against trans madness, scary as it is to put yourself out there, you’ll end up in a world of mass child mutilation, which is even more frightening!

It’s interesting because fear can come from so many things. And can translate to many different affects of our lives. We spend our days mixing with the challenge of just getting through the day. Getting through our lives because fear tells us everything we lack. The only thing we should fear is losing love. Love makes it all worth it. We often make irrational decisions to cover up our inability to love properly. It’s hard to find love. Yet, it’s worth the journey. Nothing more really, love.
