My daughters (14 and 11) both said how much they liked it (which surprised me). I didn’t go see it with them & now Im going to watch it!
I think kids can handle “scary” or complex themes if not sugar coated. “Spirited Away” is an example, when the girls were little I thought they would have nightmares and it became one of their favorites.
How did such a powerful script, that seems positive get produced? Accident?
Man, that movie was riveting!!! I enjoyed it more than my daughter did haha.
